Do something.

Defend America. Defend Democracy. Dump Bush.

Don't just sit there. Do your part to restore the American Dream. Less than 50 percent of the American public even bothered to vote in the last presidential election. When people stop participating in their democracy, it becomes an oligarchy. Without the input from the public, the Government responds only to corporate interests and the selfish motivations of the individuals in that Government.

Don't despair. You may ask: "What is the point in voting, when those who voted in the last election wasted their time because the guy who lost ended up in the White House." It is not too late to throw the tyrants out of Washington. If you give up now, you'll be giving it all up -- two centuries of democracy down the drain.

A few ideas:

  • Contact the organizations listed in the Links sections.
  • Write a letter to Bush, and your Congressional Representatives and let them know how pissed off you are.
  • Read as many points of view as you have time for, and then write letters to the editors expressing your viewpoints.
  • Convince as many people as you can to vote in the next election.
  • Volunteer to work on a political campaign.
  • Show up at each and every opportunity to protest, to let your voice be heard!
